These are the exact windows you will see on your Mac — no surprises. The whole thing takes about two minutes.

   Download the app

   Click "Download for Mac" on the homepage. The app is native and weighs under 3 MB — the download takes seconds.

   Drag to Applications

   Open the downloaded file. A window appears with the Pairrot icon and an arrow — drag the icon onto the Applications folder and close the window.

   Launched it straight from the window instead? No harm done — Pairrot offers to move itself to Applications and does it for you.

3. 03

   First launch

   macOS double-checks that you know what you are opening. Pairrot is signed and notarized by Apple, so it is a single click.

   "Pairrot" is an app downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?

   This item was checked by Apple and no malicious software was detected.

4. 04

   Sign in

   One click — the app opens your browser on pairrot.tech. Sign in there and the app window picks it up by itself. No codes to retype.

   Sign in to your Pairrot account to get started.

   Finish signing in in your browser. This window will pick it up.

5. 05

   Microphone permission

   This one is easy: a system prompt and one click on "Allow". The microphone is needed to tell your voice apart from the other side.

   "Pairrot" would like to access the microphone.

   Pairrot records your microphone to tell your utterances apart from the other speaker in the transcript.

   System audio permission

   Heads up — macOS treats screen recording differently from the microphone: there is no "Allow" button, and every app (Zoom, Teams, us too) goes through Settings. Click "Open System Settings", flip the switch next to Pairrot — and that is it.

   Once the switch is on, you are done — Pairrot detects the grant and relaunches itself.

7. 07

   Fill in your profile

   Finally Pairrot opens the profile window: write who you are and what you do, add a price list or your CV. The model answers based only on what you put here.
